Our client, a global fund management company, is looking to a proven salesperson to join their EMEA marketing business.
The fund, with almost $4bn AUM, is looking to continue its 2008 expansion by hiring a marketer to be based in either its London or Zurich offices.
The role will focus on:
-Acting as the senior business developer for institutional clients throughout EMEA,
-Creating client lists with private banks, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, banks, wealth managers, IFAs and other institutional investors,
-Developing clients across the EMEA region, whilst working closely with the senior investment directors, CIO and CEO to define external market strategy,
-Develop the growing sales and marketing team by hiring additional individuals to the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic senior salesperson to play a key role in the development of one of the most progressive funds in the market.
This role will suit a candidate with strong communication and development skills, and the successful individual will be rewarded with growing responsibility and autonomy.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Proven experience within the EMEA markets (the fund is happy to hire an individual with experience covering only 1 or 2 regions, but who has the drive to expand their market coverage),
-An understanding of the needs of a financial institutions, and their investing habits,
-Exposure to hedge funds, fund of funds or alternative asset classes.
