Our client is a top ranked global investment bank with a very strong, progressive and well established platform.
They are now expanding their successful sales team in Hong Kong. They are looking to hire an exceptional individual who will be an Asian equity (Hong Kong, Singaporean, Indonesian, Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese) specialist and will have a solid understanding of the institutional market (banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Pricing and Distributing Asian Equities to institutional clients (banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies) in Asia,
-Contacting the existing client base and expanding it through new contacts,
-Understanding of client requirements, developing relationships with existing client base, monitoring market for spotting and approaching prospects,
-Using the teams well established client base and expanding this clientele,
-Centralizing product ideas from various sales channels and external clients in developing competitive/timely products for sales promotion,
-Attending meetings with the Sales Teams in London and New York.

Skills required:
-Proven track record of selling Asian equity (Hong Kong, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Indonesian, Japanese, Singaporean) to institutions in Asia. Ideally the successful candidate will have exposure to Hong Kong based institutions,
-A sound understanding of the local markets will be considered as a plus. Fluency in one local language (German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish) will be considered as a plus,
-Strong sales and communication skills,
-Willing to travel.
